In it’s third year of partnership, Double Dogs and Braxton Brewing Company join forces yet again to celebrate and support local animal shelters with Diddley Lager – an American Light Lager with a purpose.
A percentage of every Diddley Lager sold will be donated to local animal shelters, and the spent grains from the lager are being donated to Brewhaus Dog Bones, a non-profit company dedicated to providing vocational training for young adults with disabilities by using our leftover grain to handcraft small-batch, oven baked dog treats.
If you haven’t had a chance to try it, Diddley is our interpretation of the classic American Light Lager. Named after Double Dogs owner’s best pal, we use a combination of pale 2-row barley and flaked rice to create a beer that is easy to drink and refreshing for fans of American Light Lagers, while still intriguing to the palate of the modern craft beer drinker. The inspiration for the beer came from summer afternoons spent with our four-legged friends. Double Dogs Diddley Lager is available at all Double Dogs locations as a mainstay.
Alongside Double Dogs, we have had the opportunity to live out our mission and vision on the good that can come from brewing great beer! We’re delighted to be able to have this platform to contribute to communities around us, and participate in a joint venture where both people and pups benefit.
The next time you order a Diddley Lager, you can expect a portion of the proceeds to go to the following local animal shelters… So Cheers! And lift one to life for our fellow four legged friends!
