Frequently Asked Questions

Will the event space be shared with another group?

The Loft event space is located on the second floor of the building, separate from the main taproom, and will be reserved for only one event per time period.

Can I choose my own caterer?

In the Loft event space, we passionately believe in giving you the freedom to select your caterer, if that is convenient for you. We do have a list of preferred caterers available, but you are not limited to those caterers. If you decide to select a caterer not on the preferred catering list, it must be approved before moving forward.

Is there internet or Wi-Fi provided on-site?

We provide access to Braxton’s free gigabit Wi-Fi.

Are candles or other open flames allowed?

Candles are welcome in The Loft event space, but they must be in a protective glass, such as a votive. Open flames are prohibited.

Are there limitations on decorations? Can I come in early to setup?

Just one limitation: no confetti/glitter. You are welcome to decorate The Loft to fit your needs as long as items can be removed without any harm to the Loft event space. You can access The Loft two hours ahead of your event start time. If more time is needed, it must be planned with your Event Sales Manager.

Is the event space wheelchair accessible? How close is parking to the venue?

Yes, we have elevator access to the Loft event space on the second floor that’s ADA approved. There are 4 pay parking lots within a block of the venue as well.

Am I responsible for any type of cleaning after the event?

All items brought in by you, your caterers, or your guests must be removed or stored in our event storage space at least 45 minutes after the event end time. The Bar staff is responsible for cleaning the Loft event space itself.

Can I drop off any items the day before my event?

Yes, as long as it is planned and communicated with your Event Sales Manager, we will do our best to accomodate item drop-off as early as needed.

Are children under 21 allowed in the event?

Yes, we’re a family-friendly brewery and children under 21 are welcome with a parental guardian present until 9pm in the taproom. If an event end time goes past 9pm, children under 21 are allowed if they remain in The Loft event space and are with a parental guardian.

Are there hotels near the Loft event space?

Yes, there are 5 hotels within a 1.5 mile radius of Braxton.
